As the "Jiangsu Super League" finals approach, enthusiasm for football continues to surge across the region. Amid this vibrant atmosphere, the 2025 Qidong Offshore Industrial Park Five-a-Side Football Match successfully concluded on October 27. The football team of Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "CIMC SOE") delivered an outstanding performance, ultimately securing the league runner-up position.



The match was jointly organized by the Qidong Offshore Engineering & Shipbuilding Industrial Park Management Committee and the YinYang Town People's Government of Qidong City, with the Park's Promotion Office overseeing the event. It attracted several key enterprises from the park, including COSCO, CIMC, Wuchuan, Xiangyu, and Honghua, who formed teams to compete. Since its launch, the tournament featured multiple rounds of intense matches, filled with competitive tension on the field and a friendly atmosphere of interaction and mutual support among the companies off it.



CIMC SOE's 13 team members hail from various core departments within the company. Brought together by their shared passion for football, the squad includes both seasoned veterans with years of experience in their roles and energetic young employees who have recently joined the company. Since the team's formation and throughout their preparation, members have consistently encouraged and supported one another, fostering strong camaraderie through cross-departmental collaboration.

During the matches, the players demonstrated excellent coordination: launching sharp attacks and scoring spectacular team goals, while covering for each other defensively to repeatedly neutralize the opponents' fierce assaults. Particularly in the tightly-contested critical matches, the team overcame challenges with steady composure and efficient execution, vividly embodying the corporate spirit of "Never Give Up, Challenge Limits"!



Facing strong opponents, the CIMC SOE football team displayed solid technical skills and tenacious determination throughout the competition, ultimately earning the well-deserved runner-up title. Among the players, Wu Haohao from the Comprehensive Management Department, serving as the team's goalkeeper, won consistent praise from referees, opponents, and spectators alike for his quick reflexes, accurate judgment, and decisive saves, earning him the "Best Goalkeeper" award.
