On October 21, Sun Jinqi, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Acting President of the Nantong Intermediate People's Court, and his delegation visited Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "the Company") for an on-site research session at the production frontline in the west yard. They were accompanied by Gao Wenbao, Vice President of CIMC ENRIC and General Manager of CIMC SOE, along with other relevant members of the Company's management.
During the visit, Mr. Gao provided a comprehensive and in-depth introduction to the Company. He began by outlining the Company's equity structure and honors received, with a focus on reviewing its growth journey. Mr. Gao highlighted that at several critical stages of the Company's development, strong support from the judicial system had been indispensable. He specifically recalled two major events: the successful creation of an industry model of "continuing production during bankruptcy" in 2016, and the smooth acquisition of Fengshun Shipbuilding in 2021. Throughout these processes, the People's Courts at both the Nantong and Qidong levels collaborated effectively with local governments to establish an efficient tripartite coordination mechanism involving the "government, courts, and enterprise," providing crucial legal safeguards and policy support for the Company. Mr. Gao expressed sincere gratitude for this assistance.
Subsequently, Mr. Gao systematically presented the Company's current operational layout, including the development of its three major production bases and key economic indicators reflecting the Company's stable performance. At the West Area dock, Mr. Gao elaborated on the core facilities and functions of the dock, referencing the vessels under construction. He particularly emphasized the Company's consistent focus on building technologically advanced, high value-added small and medium-sized liquefied gas carriers, such as the 40,000 cubic meter MGC vessel series, striving to set a benchmark for high-quality "Made in China" products in global niche markets. After listening to the introduction and conducting the field inspection, President Sun spoke highly of CIMC SOE's precise strategic positioning, strong technical capabilities, and resilient development characterized by overcoming adversity and continuous innovation.
Looking ahead, the Company will take this research visit as fresh impetus, strengthen its development confidence, maintain focus on its main business, and strive to repay the support and trust from all sectors of society with higher-quality development outcomes, aiming to make greater contributions to the local economic development.
