On March 22, Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshor& Engineering Co., Ltd. A total of two 8200 m³ LNG bunkering ships have received strong support and assistance from Ship Owner, Italian Classification Society, and other relevant parties since the signing and construction. This project is another customized ship project undertaken by CIMC SOE for the shipowner according to customer requirements. The ship has a total length of 113 meters, a molded width of 20 meters, a molded depth of 13.5 meters, and a structural draft of 6.5 meters. It adopts the electric propulsion method, is equipped with a dual fuel generator set and an efficient full rotation propeller, and has a complete LNG refueling function.

After the lion dance with China characteristics, according to international practice, Giulia Cosulich, the godmother, cut the cable and performed a "bottle knocking ceremony". As a bottle of champagne smashed the bow of the ship, the salute rang, and the audience applauded warmly, wishing S1058 a new journey together.

It is reported that since the project was started in 2022, it has experienced many difficulties, such as the recurrence of COVID-19 epidemic, the raging typhoon weather and the running-in of equipment in the new factory area. In the face of these difficulties, with the cooperation of various production and functional departments, the team of CIMC SOE Shipbuilding Project made concerted efforts to overcome the difficulties, and completed the hull construction task with good quality and quantity, and finally ensured the smooth completion of the launching and boarding platform nodes of this project.
Launching ceremony with salute
Up to now, CIMC SOE has successively delivered more than 40 liquefied gas ships, including two 20000 m³ LNG transportation and filling ships, and two 7500 m³LNG filling ships. It has received unanimous praise from the industry and is by far the largest LNG filling ship builder in China. This refueling ship project is the first complete ship independently built by CIMC SOE on its own site after acquiring the original Fengshun Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. and putting it into production in June 2021. It marks that CIMC SOE has substantially possessed the ability to build complete ships on its own site, successfully realizing the overall strategic layout of its affiliated CIMC Enric from land to water, and promoting the group to expand the global shipbuilding business construction field.
