2026-08-14

From August 3 to 13, the second session of the "Hai Run Tong Xin Charity Classes", jointly organized by Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "CIMC SOE") and the Yinyang Town Customs Work Committee, Women's Federation, Youth League Committee, and Labor Union, came to a successful close. The program provided a safe, enriching, and joyful summer learning space for employees' children.

A Warm Start, Bringing Together Care from All Sides

At the opening ceremony, Xu Ling, Director of the Company's General Office, and Zhou Weihong, Executive Deputy Director of the Town's Customs Work Committee, delivered speeches. They warmly welcomed the students and encouraged them to gain knowledge, grow happily, and enrich themselves through the diverse curriculum, becoming idealistic and aspirational young talents for the new era.

A particularly heartwarming moment occurred when retired cadres from the Yinyang Town Hehe Branch donated RMB 2,000 to purchase school supplies, craft materials, and prizes, demonstrating the older generation's profound care for the children.

Diverse Curriculum, Kicking Off a Wonderful Summer

Building on last year's success, this session featured an upgraded curriculum designed to balance knowledge, fun, and hands-on learning. Every day offered something exciting and new.

On the first day, children got to know each other through an ice-breaking activity themed "My Summer Keyword," explored their creativity with "Perler Bead" art, and visited the company exhibition hall in the afternoon to gain insight into modern industrial manufacturing and management.

Science and technology sessions sparked curiosity, with an introduction to AI allowing children to experience AI-powered drawing and voice assistants. A mock courtroom activity focused on campus bullying cases, planting seeds of legal awareness through role-playing. Safety education classes and a "Little Heroes" first-aid course taught practical skills such as CPR and the Heimlich maneuver. In arts and culture sessions, children experienced intangible cultural heritage through bamboo weaving and shadow puppet workshops, created rabbit lanterns, and designed their own picture books. Music classes offered relaxation through rhythm and song, while a poetry competition let them appreciate the beauty of classical Chinese verse.

Additional highlights included a financial literacy class on managing pocket money, team-building games like "Cooperative Construction," red culture storytelling sessions, an "Emotion Island Adventure" mental health workshop, an interactive English class themed "Colorful World," a community observation project, and a "Little Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner" experience where children made herbal sachets and lamps.

Beyond the classroom, children explored the world around them. They visited the Ninth Branch of the Anti-Japanese Military and Political University Memorial Hall and the Zhang Jian Reclamation and Education Memorial Hall for red culture field trips. They also toured a local military camp, participating in formation drills, learning about barracks life, and watching martial arts demonstrations. A visit to the Qidong Printmaking Institute allowed them to view exhibitions and try their hand at blue calico printing, immersing themselves in the beauty of intangible cultural heritage.

A Warm Closing, Celebrating Growth Moments

The final day was filled with warmth. A family education lecture helped bridge communication between parents and children.

At the graduation ceremony, children showcased their learning achievements through talent performances and shared their gains and reflections.

Each child received a carefully prepared souvenir, encouraging them to carry forward the discipline and curiosity cultivated during the program. Parents expressed their gratitude: "The classes were rich and safe. Our children came home excited every day. We felt reassured and could focus on work with peace of mind."

Government-Enterprise Collaboration, Building a Caring Brand Together

The success of this charity class program is another vivid example of CIMC SOE's active fulfillment of social responsibility, care for employee families, and commitment to building a harmonious corporate culture. Through close collaboration and resource sharing, the program effectively alleviated the "summer childcare worries" of employees while creating a distinctive and innovative employee care model.

Though brief, the ten days planted seeds of knowledge and growth in the children's hearts. May this summer's warmth and companionship light their path forward. Going forward, the Company will continue to partner with all stakeholders, refine the charity class model, and extend the reach of the "Nourishing Young Hearts by the Sea" program to benefit more employee families.
