On August 4, Shao Wei, Deputy Director of the Nantong Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau, led a delegation to Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "CIMC SOE") for an on-site inspection and research visit. Gao Wenbao, Vice President of CIMC ENRIC and General Manager of CIMC SOE, and Su Fei, Deputy General Manager of the Company, hosted the delegation and provided detailed briefings throughout the visit.

The delegation first toured the company's exhibition hall, where they gained a comprehensive understanding of CIMC SOE's development history, core products, technical advantages, order backlog, technological innovations, and progress on ongoing projects. As a national high-tech enterprise and a national-level "Specialized and Sophisticated 'Little Giant' Enterprise," CIMC SOE has been focusing on liquefied gas carriers and cargo systems, LNG fuel tanks, offshore wind power equipment, and offshore modules since its establishment in Qidong in 2006. It has now grown into a significant global force in the small-to-medium liquefied gas carrier and fuel tank market.
Subsequently, the delegation visited the company's AI Monitoring Center to observe the construction and operation of its intelligent and digital management platform. Through real-time data displayed on large screens, the delegation gained insight into the company's digital applications in production scheduling, safety control, and quality management.

After the on-site inspection, the delegation held a symposium with the company's management. Gao Wenbao, Vice President of CIMC ENRIC and General Manager of CIMC SOE, extended a warm welcome to the delegation on behalf of the company and provided a more detailed report on CIMC SOE's business operations and development. Mr. Gao noted that the company's order backlog has reached a historic high, with fuel tank orders scheduled through 2028 and vessel orders through 2029, demonstrating strong growth momentum.
Deputy Director Shao Wei fully affirmed the company's achievements in recent years. He stated that the Bureau would continue to support the company's development, further enhance service and support, and provide more targeted guidance and assistance in policy alignment and industrial coordination to create a favorable environment for the company's sustained growth.
This inspection fully reflects the Nantong Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau's high regard for the development of the offshore engineering and shipbuilding industry. CIMC SOE will take this visit as an opportunity to further strengthen its core competitiveness and contribute even more to Nantong's goal of building a world-class shipbuilding and offshore engineering industrial cluster.
The delegation was also accompanied by Xu Wei, Deputy Secretary of the Qidong Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor of the Municipal Government; Sun Dongdong, Head of the Defense Industry and Science Division of the Nantong Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau; Shi Buchun, Deputy Head of the same division; as well as key officials from the Qidong Municipal Development and Reform Commission and the Offshore Engineering Industrial Park.
