2026-06-05

From June 1 to 5, Posidonia, the world's premier maritime event, grandly opened in Athens, Greece. Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "CIMC SOE") made a strong appearance with its full range of clean energy storage and transportation equipment and diversified vessel types, marking the company's first participation in this internationally benchmarked maritime exhibition. The delegation was led by Gao Wenbao, Vice President of CIMC ENRIC and General Manager of CIMC SOE, along with the core sales team. Leveraging ENRIC's comprehensive energy equipment industry system, the company showcased the Group's full-industry-chain R&D and manufacturing capabilities in the clean energy offshore sector.

The vessel lineup at the booth featured a brilliant array of highlights. In addition to the market-proven star vessel types — LNG bunker vessels and small-to-medium-sized liquefied gas carriers — the company also unveiled two new products: AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug Supply) vessels and 1850 TEU container vessels, which attracted significant attention from clients both domestically and internationally. On the tank equipment front, the exhibition focused on the full series of Type A/B/C marine cargo tanks and fuel tanks — core products that are fully compatible with the storage and transportation of multiple clean energy media, including LNG, LEG, LPG, liquid ammonia (LNH₃), and liquid carbon dioxide (LCO₂). These products comprehensively meet the diverse and low-carbon equipment upgrade needs of global shipowners, covering the mainstream storage and transportation requirements for the current low-carbon transition in shipping.

The exhibition yielded fruitful business negotiations. On the very first day, the company formally signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the renowned French shipowner Sogestran Shipping, finalizing plans for the joint construction of a 6,000m³ LNG bunker vessel. This fully validates the company's technological and brand recognition in the clean energy vessel sector.

Throughout the exhibition, the team engaged in in-depth exchanges with leading enterprises across the shipbuilding industry value chain. Leveraging ENRIC's global industry layout and accumulated energy equipment technology, CIMC SOE continues to expand domestic and international market channels, supporting the green and low-carbon upgrade of global shipping with diversified products. Through the Posidonia platform, the company is solidifying its market presence in Europe.
