Recently, Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "CIMC SOE") signed a construction contract for 1+1 20,000-cubic-meter LNG bunkering vessels with France's CMA CGM Group (hereinafter "CMA CGM") and Greece's Capital Group. The vessels will be ordered by a joint venture established by CMA CGM and Capital Group, and upon completion, will be chartered on a long-term basis to global energy giant TotalEnergies for operation, forming a complete "order-charter-operation" industrial chain.

It is reported that CMA CGM, TotalEnergies, and Capital Group have all been deeply engaged in the LNG sector for many years, having accumulated extensive resources and established comprehensive layouts across various segments of the industry chain. This strong combination of the three parties will fully leverage their respective strengths to achieve resource complementarity and collaborative success.

This order further consolidates CIMC SOE's leading position in the small and medium-sized LNG bunker vessel niche market, while also fully demonstrating the technical capabilities and industrial standards of China's shipbuilding industry in the high-end clean energy vessel sector, continuously reshaping the international market's perception of China's LNG high-end equipment manufacturing. In the future, as the new vessels are completed and delivered, the company will help expand the global LNG bunkering network and continue to facilitate the steady low-carbon transition of the shipping industry.

Since the beginning of this year, LNG orders at Chinese shipyards have been surging, with the industry increasingly ramping up LNG bunker and carrier construction. The company has continuously signed multiple shipbuilding orders, effectively empowering the global shipping industry's low-carbon and green transformation. To date, the company's total hand-on-order value has reached a record high of over RMB 20 billion, maintaining significant year-on-year growth, laying a solid foundation for the long-term development of green shipping.
